I only use the 15W lamp for starting chilli plants from seed and cuttings. I had bought one over a year ago and it performed so well, I bought another. I rigged a small grow tent from bubble reflectix and a desk lamp to fit a 30x30cm tray which could hold 9 square nursery pots. The 15W light was more than adequate for speedy and healthy growth. The plants do still need hardening off before exposing them to a full day of direct sun.Update 2 years later (October 2024):I have bought even more lights and now have three 15w and two 36W Sansi grow lamps. They have been on for 12 hours each day for the past 12 months. I use the 15W lights for chilli pepper and other seedlings, and also in combination with the 36W lights for mature plants. Using all 5 of the Sansi lights together (in total 117W) to light up an area of approximately 1x1 meters, I was not only able to get 9 indoor grown chilli plants to grow extremely well, but also to flower profusely and ripen the fruit. I place all my lights some 30 cm above the top of the plants. Highly recommended!Update December 2024I reduced the amount of mature chili pepper plants to six pots in my larger grow tent and also reduced the floor area that they occupy to only 1/2 m2. I also bought an additional 36W light for the larger grow tent so I could move a 15W light to illuminate a small grow box for only seedlings. The larger grow tent now has 3x36W + 2x15W = 138W in total. Flowering and fruiting has become even more profuse and that for plants that have not had any sunlight exposure at all as they have only been indoors these past two months. I am looking forward to a big mid-winter chili pepper harvest!

Ik had 2 dezelfde plantjes bij een raam (op het noorden) staan en 1 deed het veel minder goed. Als test het zwakkere plantje onder de lamp gezet en deze is het "goede" plantje voorbij gegroeid! Veel voller, meer nieuwe scheuten, het is echt een merkbaar verschil. De lamp is wat prijzig maar met dit resultaat vind ik het de prijs wel waard. Ik ervaar het sowieso ook als prettig licht. De tweede is besteld!

Ik heb hem nu bijna een jaar en de planten zijn ontzettend blij onder de lamp! De lamp is best fel in huis, daar moest ik wel aan wennen. Ik heb hem op een timer staan (los bij gekocht) voor 9 uur per dag.

Received, installed for a plant, not with timer but manual turn on/off. Increased on time from 6hours to 12 hours over about 20 days period. After 35 days of use, doesn't turn on anymore. Tried in a different socket, and a different fixture in same socket. Seems under the see-through plastic cover the space between individual LEDs burnt. Can't recommend, seems it's typical chinese quality

Lamp is super fel alleen mijn lamp had een klein defect. Er rammelde een afgebroken stukje plastic in de behuizing. 2 mailtjes later heeft de verkoper een nieuwe naar mij opgestuurd. Lamp is goed, service nog beter.

The SANSI 36W Full Spectrum Grow Light worked well for my plants, providing solid support for growth with a good balance of light. It was particularly helpful during the winter months. However, after about 9 months of regular use, the light suddenly stopped working without any mechanical damage or drops. Up until that point, I was quite happy with its performance, but I would have expected it to last longer for the price. Overall, it's effective, but the durability could be improved

Die Lampe ist sehr gut verarbeitet, hat einen breiten Lichtkegel und die angegebenen Lichtwerte kommen in etwa hin. Die kleinen Pflanzen freuen sich über das Licht und wachsen sehr gut. Definitiv eine klare kauf Empfehlung

For starters, this lamp made my plant growth EXPLODE. Leaves get bigger and bigger each time, ALL my plants are in love with it. They barely generate any heat, which is surprising considering the amount of light this emits. It's definitely very bright, but has a subtly warm undertone. The bulbs themselves are big, but considering what you're getting in return from your plants, there's nothing bad to say about this product. I bought two and so should you.

It’s larger than I expected it to be but also this thing has POWER. Don’t stare into it directly, it will hurt. I‘m very curious to see how it affects plant growth, but just judging by the brightness (especially when comparing to the more budget friendly off brand versions) I would assume it must be beneficial
