SANTORO Pirouettes Kaart - Koi Karper

Beautiful 3D card

Love it.

This Santoro Koi carp card arrives in cellophane. The card is made from good quality, if slightly thin, card with good colours.To assemble the card you pull the designated tab on the base, this causes the bottom to fan out and the upper to rise. Once the card is fanned out you can see the 3D scene.The Koi carp have bits of their body that are loose and move, mimicking a fish swimming.The overall effect is very ingenious and quite fascinating (for the humble card) and is the type of card that will be kept on a mantle piece or book shelf for longer than the birthday.The only things to note are the area where you write your message (underneath the bottom of the card) gets covered once you fan it out and spinning the whole thing around just seems a bit 'unbalanced spinning top' to me. Why would you do it?

Card does not stand up straight.

Exactly like the product images, and the fins have a slight wibble to them once it's fully "up".The print quality on it is excellent, and the envelope is generously sized. The paper/card quality of both is great!Really easy to open up and display it, too.
