I've never seen garter straps without any adjustment but these don't have any. They are one length and are super small, more like a children's size then for adults. They are 12 mm wide (1/2") 4-1/4" length unstretched from clip eye center to hook. They stretch to 6-1/4 max., There is NO adjustment. A single line of stitches is used to attach the hook and the clip. The raw edge of the cut strap is rough as the edge has been brunt to prevent fraying instead of turning under the edge. The clip is very small with a button that is only 8mm across. These will be very difficult to fasten on any stockings with a lace band and impossible if the lace has a silicone strip. I'm also disappointed by the finish on the garter clip. It is rough, has a dull metal color and has a metal burr/parting line thru the middle. The hook looks much better as it is smooth and shiny.In my photo is a different brand (Gragengs) I bought on the same day on top of this one.The only practical use I can think of for these is to hold up a small band of stretch fabric around your thigh and attach the hooks to your underwear. They won't work for any stocking/garter belts I have as an adjustable length is absolutely mandatory.
