The unique manufacturing method makes it more delicious and easier to prepare. Thanks to this method you can 1. Enjoy its fluffiness when baked. 2. Savour it even if boiled. 3. Easily break it with your hands. How to cook: Baking 1. Bake for about 3 to 5 minutes using a toaster oven, until the surface of the mochi is browned. 2. Switch off the toaster without opening the door, and leave the mochi inside for about 2 minutes. 3. This way, mochi can be cooked softly all the way through. * The cooking time may differ depending on the model of the toaster oven. Please adjust the time accordingly. Boiling 1. Put the mochi in a pot with water and turn off the fire. 2. Ater the water has boiled, reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 2 minutes. Microwaving 1. Put the mochi in a heat-resistant container, add enough water to immerse the mochi, and heat until the whole mochi swells (in the case of 500W, two pieces take about two and a half minutes). * Adjust the heating time according to the model of microwave oven, heat-resistant container and amount of water. Cooking ideas: 1. Dip cooked mochi in soy sauce and wrap it with nori (seaweed sheet): it's ready to serve! 2. Put it in your favourite soup for a perfect meal! 3. As a dessert, serve it with Kinako sugar or sweet red beans as you like! Storage directions: 1. Store at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight, high temperature and humidity. 2. Since mochi is "raw" (No preservatives), once opened it could mold. Consume as soon as possible after opening the individual packaging. 3. The best before date indicates the time until the quality of the product is maintained when the individual packaging is unopened. (It is the deadline for keeping the deliciousness of freshly made mochi.) 4. If the individual packaging gets scratched, it could mold. *No preservatives. The quality is maintained by the individual packaging.
