It arrived in good condition although a couple of pieces were "thrown around" in the Styrofoam, giving the potential for the class pieces to be smashed in to one other during transport, luckily it seemed that mine were all in tact.You get a sheet with 32 felt stickers you have to stick on yourself which was a bit annoying but acceptable , the adhesive is not that great plus the pieces are hollow from the bottom so not much surface to adhere on and potential to push it inside better center them!Interesting is that they do put on 4 white felt pieces on the board itself which are difficult to get off (I wanted to replace them with clear rubber shoes for looks) and are not nicely aligned to the corners (rush job slapped on). If you let the buyer sticker the pieces let them choose whether to use the ugly felt pieces under the board too. But this is a minor detail with some hard scrubbing and alcohol I got them off. Not a deal-breaker.I found some blemishes here and there on the inside which are visible through the glass (probably entry point for the mold) the quality of the glass seems quite good. SmoothI always wanted a glass set because of the aesthetics and play casual some chess with friends, this is more a visual object than anything else, for serious chess play this is not a good choice.I found the price a little steep compared to the size and quality, 45 euros during my purchase, but since I could not find anything better compared to looks, size and shipping size this is still a very good product as a gift or decoration item.It gets 3/5 stars because the finish could have been a little better and in my opinion you can buy 6 drink glasses which is double the weight in glass for 4 bucks. Add in some work and this should be worth no more than 25 bucks.They claim the king is 5 centimeters but it is 6, so you get a bonus :)Overall this is a great decorative piece and will let you play chess I am just giving the details for those trying to make a decision in the end for me it was worth the buy because I love how it looks and I could not find much better.So if you want glass this is a safe bet and while I believe should be a bit cheaper still good value for the price.
