For the price, they are nicer than I expected! They actually include the reinforced strip on the bottoms too, so the times my kid has walked in them on the rubber mat, they've survived.

We use to bag these in a larger grocery bag to keep them separate from the rest of my son's hockey gear. With these we don't have to worry about the damp skates or blades scrapping against say a helmet or pad that is also in the bag.We'll see how well these hold up. Of course we never had to wash a grocery bag but with these absorbing some water/ice over time, I'm sure they'll need some cleaning.For the most part these are a fabric cover, almost like a shoe cover with elastic openings. They do have a strip along the bottom though.

Cumple su función, se adaptan a todo tipo de patín y diferentes tallas, en nuestro caso es un patín de talla32-35 evolutivo tipo hockey, limpiamos la cuchilla y después ponemos el protector de momento estamos contentos.Se puede lavar y tiene un refuerzo en la parte baja.

I had plastic skate guards for my hockey skates but when I got new skates the skate guards no longer fit, they were too large and would keep falling off. So I wanted to get these elastic covers since they should work even if I change my skates.The skate guards are a very vibrant blue, the sides are soft and fluffy while the bottom is a more nylon texture. My skates are a size 5.5 and while the covers do wrap around the blades it does seem like it'd work much better for figure skates due to the longer blade.Overall I think the covers are good and will work for both figure skates and hockey skates.
