Schmetz is a german manufacturer and are probably the best quality needles you can purchase. Schmetz are one of the most expensive quality needles you can buy. you wouldn't appreciate the quality until you have tried them and worth paying the extra. Size 90/14 Universal are the most useful and common size and fit both our sewing machines (4 Elna, 1 Singer) and our overlockers ( 2 Singers).

Very pleased. I am glad my cancellation for order didn't go through because these are good quality needles. £20.95 seem much for needles, but it comes to 21p each. I am an amateur in using a sewing machine, and keep breaking needles. My mum was angry because I keep borrowing hers, and return it broken. So now I have 100 needles to break (probably a decade worth needles). I use it for a mini household 12 stitch needle sewing machine I got from amazon, or for my mum's old singer sewing machine. I have been altering hems of some primark clothing, as primark clothing are very thin quality material. These needles are good for them. Needles comes in nice tough plastic box that slides out, and have small anti corrosion papers to keep it nice and fresh. Arrived through my post box fast. Thank you.

These are the ONLY needles I will use in my sewing machines and embroidery machines. They are excellent quality, stitch perfectly all the time, and especially when I am using my two embroidery machines, I use nothing else in them other than 90/14 as I have no thread breakages, shedding or ripping during long embroidery projects. I use the 80/12 for my sewing and quilting projects

100 Schmetz needles at a very reasonable price. These needles are strong and last well but I do quite a lot of sewing and they do need changing fairly regularly - until now I've always bought packs of 5, so I'm a;ways running out and having to substitute with a different size. This pack is perfect for me.
