Needing an outdoor thermometer I was really quite taken by the appearance of this one, but I was just a little concerned about how the reality of the plastic item would stack up once it was in my hands. I read some of the reviews and decided it was worth going the extra mile and purchasing the metal version rather than the plastic one.Now it's possible I might have been satisfied with the plastic version, but I do not regret paying the extra for peace of mind and the reassuring heft and weight and feel or real metal - and the knowledge that it's unlikely to have any warping issues or deleterious effects of heat.It was but a short task to put up the thermometer - it took more time aligning it acceptable on an ancient and out-of-square door tbh! - and it is very legible with the blue mercury very visible making it a matter of ease to glance at and register the temperature.Accurate, sturdy, legible and pleasing to the eye, I can see no reason not to allot the full Five Star rating for this excellent and utilitarian piece of equipment.p.s. It cannot be stated strongly enough that a weather temperature must NEVER be placed where it will be in direct sunlight, it must ALWAYS be placed in shade. Remember, its task is to measure the ambient (i.e., air) temperature, not the heat of the direct rays of the sun. Think about what happens to a car bonnet when it's been under the blazing sun - well the same will happen to a thermometer, so it is not faulty when it appears to be giving an unfeasibly high reading - one can't expect any tool to be effective when not utilised correctly.

Agréablement surprise car le produit est vraiment très beau. Bien que ce soit du plastic il est lourd et il est vraiment bien conçu : est arrivé dans un grand carton et bien emballé. Ravie de cet achat.

Arrivato un paio di giorni prima di quanto stabilito. Bello da vedere, attaccato al muro esterno di casa, fa la sua porca figura. Solido, pesante, da subito la sensazione di non essere fragilino. Confrontato con il termometro presente nella mia auto e segnano la stessa identica temperatura.Amazon come sempre perfetto.

Envío en el plazo fijado, incluso llegó un día antes. Viene perfectamente embalado en una caja de cartón e interiormente muy bien protegido el producto con burbujas de plástico y en su envoltorio plastificado. Trae sus tornillos y tacos para anclar en la pared. Es muy bonito y aparentemente de una calidad buena. Es metálico, no plástico, y da buena impresión. Por su forma y acabado puede decorar en cualquier lugar de la casa o exterior. Mi i te cien al comprarlo era colocarlo en el balcón, pero me ha gustado y voy a colocarlo en el salón. Por el precio y su calidad, lo recomiendo. Buena compra como elemento de decoración y utilidad como termómetro.
