I bought this spray to protect my daughter's faux suede boots, which we bought from Next. I used the Scotchguard outside in the garden. I sprayed each boot on the outer sole, the top, the ankle part, and either side of the zip to ensure I had fully covered and sealed each boot from the rain and snow.When the spray was applied, the boots became darker, even a touch black. Not long after the black disappeared, and the material became lighter. (I think that was just the spray making the material darker because it was damp from the spray).I took the above picture not long after I had sprayed them; then, left them overnight to fully 'set'. My daughter has since been wearing the boots in snowy weather and currently tells me there are no watermarks so it seems to be working.I am currently happy with the product and would recommend.

Quality item, used on my favourite 2nd hand Uggs boots, they have come up lovely with a suede brush and using this. Waterproofed them (although I don’t wear them if it’s raining) but got caught out in them, during a shower and all dry. I recommend, it’s worked on my boots.Do this outside if possible, easy to do. Works well, easy to spray on with no discolouration around suede, Uggs. Adidas trainers in all sorts of colours.

I have been using the Scotchguard spray for years to waterproof jackets, coats and boots. I place two coats with extra attention to the seams. Make sure doing it outside, turning you back to the wind to avoid breathing the chemicals.

I used this on my wallabees and the results were fantastic! It was easy to apply and dried quickly, leaving no residue.After a few weeks of wear, including some unexpected rain, my shoes still look new. This product seems to repel water and stains well, keeping my suede wallees looking pristine. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to extend the life of their suede goods!
