Unfortunately, this did not work well for my octopus. Not because the product is faulty, but because my Aqua Lung octopus mouthpiece is angled differently than a normal regulator mouthpiece. The holder held it in place, but at an awkward angle that I just didn’t like.Interestingly, while I was fiddling around trying to figure a way to secure my flashlight to my BCD. I found that my flashlight snapped into this octopus holder perfectly and is held quite securely. I tied A bolt snap to the back end of my flashlight, and hooked it up to left D ring of my BCD, Then placed the flashlight across my chest and snapped it into this octopus holder which was attached to my right D ring. This holds my flashlight in a very handy spot across my chest without dangling. I can use it by popping it out of the octopus holder, leaving it clipped to the D ring and use it just like that if I wish. Of course this won’t work for every flashlight, but it works great for my Orcatorch D550.
