The substrate looks amazing but it takes a little bit of work in preparation. I rinsed it 7 or 8 times in a bucket before I put it into my empty aquarium. Then I did the hardscape and live plants before I VERY SLOWLY put the water in with no disturbing the sand. Once full the water stayed crystal clean. The picture was taken right after I was done filling the aquarium with water.

The price is a bit high and one bag wasnt enough but honestly the quality of this sand is worth it. Would buy this Product again for a more planted tank.
