Seagate ST2000DL003 2 TB interne harde schijf (8,9 cm (3,5 inch), 5900 rpm, 8,5 ms, 64 MB cache, SATA) zwart

I've had this installed as my main hard drive with Windows installed on it, along with some non-critical data since mid April 2011. The drive was very quite, near silent even, with reasonable read/write times for its "green" status, i was rather content with it. However, two months later, the read/write times remain unchanged, but in regards to the drive still being silent.....not so much. The hard drive seems to have developed a somewhat faint, intermittent winding noise which can be heard even when the system is idle. Its' a little tricky to describe the sound, but imagine holding a thin piece of plastic against the rotating blades of a bedroom fan. Although the sound is quite faint, it can still be heard over my FIVE pc case fans! Whether this hard drive stands the test of time, only time will tell, but im very doubtful. It comes as no surprise that i probably wouldn't recommend this hard drive.**EDIT** Forgot to mention that this Drive scores 5.9 in Windows 7. Apparently that's the highest rating acheivable for a mechanical drive.**Update 09/06/15** Decided to up my rating from 2 stars to 5 stars, as this drive hasn't caused any issues in the 4 years that I've been using it as my main drive (touch wood!). Highly recommend this drive, and will probably stick with this brand when I upgrade my rig.

Seagate makes the best drives, and this one served it's purpose. It holds all my data and keeps it secure. I love the S.M.A.R.T drive feature that lets you know if your drive is going to fail. A great addition to any computer.

J'ai attendu longtemps pour donner mon avis car un disque dur se juge dans sa durée...J'en ai acheté 4 d'un coup pour l'un de mes NAS NetGear. Ca tourne depuis plusieurs mois sans problème.Marque généralement fiable. Aucune déception. Le prix était en conséquence aussi à l'époque. Mais je ne suis pas déçu du tout.A conseiller ou équivalent si ce modèle n'existe plus (ça tourne tellement vite dans ce genre de fourniture !)

Ich habe momentan 5 Platten dieses Typs, seit einem Jahr im Dauer Einsatz ohne Probleme. Diese hier sind einfach fantastisch sehr ruhig und troz 5900 Umdrehungen höllisch schnell richtige Hardware vorausgestzt, ahci sollten euer Controller schon unterstützen. Im normal Betrieb fällt eine solche Platte normal auch nie aus. Ich habe 14 Jahre alte Seagate Platten die noch laufen.Wenn ihr die Platte aber für euer Handelsübliches NAS sucht seit ihr hier falsch, kauft euch lieber eine Server Platte wie die Pipeline. Das hier ist vom Grundsatz eine Desktop Platte. Ich würde sie momentan nie mehr in ein Hardware Raid verbauen aus 2 Gründen:-Hardware Raids haben Controller die für den Einsatz in Firmen gebaut wurden. Niemand will einer Firma Millionen für ihre verlorenen Daten zahlen, deshalb wird schon mal eine Platte als defekt gemeldet die einwandfrei läuft.-Der Geschwindigkeits Nachteil kommt noch hinzu, ein Raid 0 über sata würde 3 Platten(bei 5900rpm) um ein Gigabit LAN auszunutzen, man benötigt knapp 100 MByte/sec(liegt an Kontrollbit usw.) dafür.Steckt man eine dieser Platte über ahci an, erhält man etwa über 100 MByte/sec von einer einzigen Platte.Ich hab die 5 Platten am Anfang über ein Software Raid 5 unter Linux auf einem AMD E350 laufen lassen (500MByte/lesen, 300MByte/schreiben). Bei einem Stromausfall oder Absturz kann dann aber ein replizier Vorgang erforderlich werden 8TB würde 8 Stunden bedeuten, ist bei einem Hardware Raid genau so möglich. Sicherer, einfacher und bequemer 4 dieser Platten zu zwei virtuellen Datenträgern zusammenhängen und die Daten regelmäßig über ein Backupprogramm übertragen lassen. Kein Replizieren die Datenrate beträgt immer noch über 100 Mbyte volle Gigabitkapazität und es gibt keinen Controller der kaputt gehen kann.

Disco da 2TB di Seagate (che recentemente ha acquistato da Samsung la divisione HD),Versione Green, silenzioso e abasso consumo, velocità 5900 giri, però è abbastanza veloce.Preso per accoppiarlo come archivio ad un disco SSD, fa molto bene il suo dovere.Una volta visto da Windows 7, richiedete un tipo di "preparazione" particolare per vedere tutti i 2 Terabyte..Ovviamente è Sata, interfaccia che permette di sfruttare la sua velocità.Ottimo il prezzo (in negozio costa almeno 30-40 euro un più), e eccellente il servizio di Amazon.
