My wife and I both got one for our trikes. They work very well and sound very clear for communication plus very well made for safety.

Il casco è bello senza dubbio.La taglia (L) è giusta (io ho una 56). Purtroppo però ho avuto problemi con la connessione ed il pairing fra cellulare ( ho un Iphone Xr) e dispositivo. Ho provato mille volte anche dopo aver fatto l'aggiornamento firmware cosa consigliata da alcuni utenti ma nulla. Non ne ha voluto sapere.Il software di aggiornamento potrebbe essere molto (!) migliorato (assomiglia un pò ai programmi di installazione di Win95). Ho naturalmente scaricato la app Sena cycling ma non si riesce ad andare oltre la prima schermata perchè il dispositivo non viene ovviamente riconosciuto. Con dispiacere ho effettuato un reso ma tanto mi è piaciuto il casco in se (tranne la connessione che potrebbe/spero essere un caso isolato) che ne ho ordinato un altro uguale (con la speranza che non risucceda il problema) altrimenti dovrò definitivamente desistere e andare su un altro casco (e sarebbe un peccato) .Terrò aggiornati. Per ora 1 stellaAGGIORNAMENTO:Anche con il nuovo casco lo stesso problema. Il pairing non inizia perchè il dispositivo non crea la connessione. Sebbene si provi a seguire le istruzioni non c'è verso di far partire l'accoppiamento. Ho provato a scrivere a SENA. Attendo risposte. DelusoAGGIORNAMENTI:Sena ha risposta ed ora funziona tutto a dovere. In pratica bisogna effettuare un reset del dispositivo (si effettua tramite un minuscolo buchino appena sotto la scritta SENA sul retro del casco). Il casco deve essere acceso poi, tramite una leggera pressione con una graffetta per circa 1 secondo il dispositivo si spegnerà. a questo punto si deve cancellare sia l'app Sena Cicling, il software Sena per il firmware e riscaricare il tutto. Se c'è qualcosa di memorizzato sul PC io l'ho cancellato. Ho rifatto tutta la procedura e poi ho rifatto il pairing tramite l'accesso alla configurazione (tasto centrale , dopo acceso, premuto per 10 secondi. Si udirà "menu configurazione" e a questo punto si procede con la pressione del tasto + per il pairing del telefono. A me ha funzionato. Spero di essere stato utile. 4 stelle (una meno per la difficoltà riscontrata)

I bought this helmet primary for playing back music and podcasts not two way communications. For my use I am disappointed in the audio quality. While I've had no static or dropouts the sound is very thin and not good for listening to music.The sound level reaching my ear is low. This is with the volume maxed on both the helmet and phone. If I cup my hand over the helmet's speaker the sound level goes way up. So why are the built-in speakers pointed straight down to my shoulder and not angled towards my ear?Even adjusted for max size it is a tight fit. I wear a 7 1/2" (59.7cm) size hat.The helmet may be great for intercom use but is not a headphone replacement.

The microphone stopped working after a few times using the helmet. SENA strung me along for a week having me perform certain “tests”, then would only replace the helmet after I shipped the defective one back to them at my cost of $50. All this happened while on a month long trip when my husband and I needed to use the helmets every day. We got the new helmet after the completion of our trip, appealed to SENA to do the right thing and refund the $50 shipping cost, which they refused. Bad customer service SENA.

Like the helmet very much. Fits great with the adjustable liner, communicating with my wife is great. The microphone is very sensitive in a positive way and the speakers provide clear sound and no wind noise. I would highly recommend this helmet. I bought the Sena R1 based on the positive reviews and the fact that I do not wish to communicate with a large number of bikers as the other versions can do. Range is excellent, probable several hundred yards. I would highly recommend the R1 helmet. Shame it does not include a visor.
