On the recommendation of my brother, I bought two helmets for one for my wife, and one for myself. It is so pleasant to have a conversation with my wife when we are on long rides. No more hustling to catchup, or slowing down to talk! Because of the mesh network we can also talk with our friends and relatives when we go on group rides. I will state the clear conversation range we get here on the OBX of NC. (a lot of the riding trails are relatively straight) is only 4-5 blocks. After about five blocks you can only hear every other word or snippets of sentences. Even though the microphone is at your forehead the sound is extremely clear and there seems to be no wind noise. We have used Bluetooth headsets paired with our phones and we have never had a riding experience like we do with these helmets. The helmet is sturdy, with good adjustments to fit well and as snug as you want it. It has a light in the back with 3 modes that will only turn on when the helmet is turned on and turns off when you turn off the helmet. I am very grateful that they chose to use USB C type plugs for charging. I am so sick of the micro-USB plugs on our other helmets.And so my wife and I are officially spoiled we will never be able to use another helmet without built-in communications!

I never thought I would spend so much on several helmets but after using 2 of them with my significant other and I, we bought more for the kids. The range is phenomenal if you separate out of sight. You can hear it clearly and don’t have to shout for the mic to pick up your voice. Can speak normally. You only pick up heavy cross wind. So if you’re traveling fast and turn your head sideways, or a strong sidewind. Which may sound bad but it’s not, testament to blocking out the wind noise so well for 99% of the ride. Battery life is great. We’ve gone out for several hours without ever turning them off. Which is surprising given how incredibly light and comfortable they are
