I bought this product because when I cycled my dishwasher I had water coming out of the air gap vent into the sink.The tool needs to be inserted in the large gap of the air vent. Not the small hole.The tool worked perfected and I was stunned how much nasty crap was forced in the garbage disposal. The length is good and I could see it poking into the garbage disposal area.Use a rag or paper towel to cover the end when you pull it out because it will splatter a little bit. Rinse off and store for future use.The stinky smell near the sink has disappeared, so I will add this to my annual cleaning.I have not used it for any other application.Hope this helps you. I would buy again.

Produits solides, bien flexibles, les brossettes sont rigides et nettoient bien. Seul bémol : moi ma grille d'évier ne laisse finalement pas passer le flexible avec la pince.Mais pour le lavabo, ça permet d'attraper les cheveux sans démonter tout le syphon. Ou même un objet tombé derrière le radiateur!
