I wear a suit jacket with a 42in chest, so bought the large, advertised at 42-44in, but on putting it on I could barely get the top button done up and even that felt like it was about to tear apart! I know I'm not the slimmest person around, but the other buttons didn't even come close to meeting! I needed it for a fancy dress night so unlikely to be able to exchange it for the larger size in time, so guess I'll have to re-think and try to wear it hanging open instead.
