Een prima airco ..Koelt goed .Het installeren met de raamafdichtkit was meer een klusje voor mijn vriend .Ook best nog zwaar om naar boven te tillen .Het enige puntje van aandacht is het geluid dat het maakt .Het is nog erg wennen ,ben echt wel wat gewend met ventilators of waaier aan boven bed .Het is een hard geluid met een brom er door .( airco)Ik ga er van uit dat dat het geluid is wat hij maakt .Kortom het zal erg wennen zijn om het geluid te ontkomen.

Die Lieferung war pünktlich und ohne Probleme. Die Verpackung ist zuverlässig, die Gebrauchsanweisung ist detailliert und leicht zu verstehen.Eines unserer Wohnzimmer liegt auf der Sonnenseite und im Sommer ist es manchmal sehr heiß im Zimmer. Der übliche Ventilator hilft nicht, also haben wir dieses Klimagerät gekauft. Heute haben wir es zum ersten Mal angeschaltet. Die Klimaanlage arbeitet nicht laut, die Luft im Raum wird gekühlt, alles was wir wollten haben wir bekommen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist einfach super.

Works great! One thing I learned is that the hoses are standardized, and if the included window kit doesn't work in your situation, you can buy alternate ones here on Amazon. In my case, my window was in a basement apartment, and high on the wall. My measurements were just 17"x10", so the included kit would not fit. The solution was to close the window on the plain hose and put the flap of a small cardboard box above it. This works fine until I buy a proper window kit. It is loud on low settings, but it's a whish sound I can get used to. The "Dry" setting seems to be just a fan from the outside. I have no problem cooling a 10'x12' room so far, but my region won't get 30C days until July.Update: We got an early summer! I just passed 31C outside and had no problem staying cool. When set to 22C, my desk remained at 23.7C all afternoon. Also I have not filled a soda bottle with drippings in weeks. Initial review: we got these units as supplements to our central air in Phoenix. It does a great job in cooling down our sleeping rooms where the central air just isn’t able to cool those areas very well.I made some modification when setting up the window hot air exhaust hose.- you will probably need an additional window kit. Our vertical window was too large and our smaller winders were too small for the kit that came with the units. Too bad because they seemed like good quality items.- to add stability for the exhaust plate block In the window, I cut some cardboard, rolled it up into a round long piece, wrapped it in duct tape and wedged it between the window and the plate. This keeps the exhaust plate my more sturdy in the window.- on my vertical window, to keep it from sliding open at all (unlikely to happen but still) I had some suction cups that screw onto the window and increase the suction grip as you screw. I placed three of these along the window and now they won’t open at all.- to create some more insulation at the exhaust plate, I cut a piece of cardboard to the plate and then bought some foam insulation and glued it to the cardboard. Now just place that in the window behind the exhaust plate to prevent more hot air from coming in.

It's simple, was easy to set up. It's a little bit awkward space wise as you need to have a window with at least 4 feet of clearance in every direction. Very good for the price though. It cools my room to lower than 20°C (which is really cold and not always needed by most) but that's a good thing because it can do its job well. It is really loud though (think garbage compacter) but it sounds like a fridge almost? So if you want something quiet this is not it. But I like mine
