These turned out to be very useful.At the moment they are priced at £8, but currently have a %15-off offer on them — which takes them under seven quid ...which for me, gets them close to a fair price.I have already tested them around the house on various small jobs and they have worked well so far.Their materials and construction seems like decent quality and the ergonomics of the 'handles' feel not bad at all.They could possibly be a little bit cheaper, but I would happily recommend them while they are coming in at less than £7.

I've only tried these cable wire cutters on thick chicken wire, its probably 1mm thick, but it cut through it like a hot knife through butter.They seem nicely made, a good weight and solid feeling with a comfortable non slip coating on the handle. A good size with reasonable length handles for good leverage.I was surprised to see its not suitable for steel wires though such as break cables and piano strings, but then they aren't that expensive as wire cutters go. Seems like it works well as long as its a reasonably soft metal, which may be a bit limiting but its fine for my use, which is mainly just around the garden.
