Incredibilmente efficace. Si passa dalla rettifica del filo (lato grana grossa) ad un filo invidiabile passando al lato fine e poi alla custodia in pelle in cui e' inserito l'affilatore. In pratica diventa una leather strop da campo che porta il filo a rasoio. In un unico attrezzo robusto ed efficace ho tutto quanto serve per affilare sul campo (ma non solo) tutte le lame, dallo svizzero, alla accetta al machete. Super consigliato

I bought this to sharpen my sickle / mini scythe in the field and it does a lovely job. It is comfortable to hold and very easy to control giving confidence and a great result. It was very hard to get out of the leather sheath the first time, but after a few times, it has become easier and now just fits well with no fear that it could fall out.The proposal in the instructions that you use the leather sheath and some paste to strop the blade seems daft as this would mean that you get paste on your pockets - it would be better to have a strop added to the sheath and then doubled over and secured with a popper - this would be the only improvement I could suggest.I am very happy to recommend this diamond stone to anyone.

J’ai acheté cet aiguiseur diamanté pour entretenir mes couteaux et je suis vraiment satisfait du résultat ! Il affûte les lames rapidement et de manière efficace, offrant un tranchant comme neuf en quelques passages. Le processus est simple à comprendre, même pour un débutant, et l’aiguiseur est conçu de manière ergonomique, ce qui facilite son utilisation.Le grain diamanté est vraiment performant, il permet de restaurer même les lames les plus émoussées. Ce modèle est aussi très durable, il ne montre aucun signe d’usure après plusieurs utilisations.L’unique inconvénient, c’est qu’il faut un peu de pratique pour bien maîtriser la bonne pression et l'angle de coupe, mais après quelques essais, l’aiguiseur devient un outil essentiel pour l’entretien de vos couteaux.

On most occasions I use a leather strop . (the sheath is advertised as such but I use paste on my strop) This is an excellent sharpener for when chips or slight damage to knife edge is present and then finish with strop .
