So far I've only linked these to my google home and they work ok with that, there is a bit of lag sometimes with the execution of on/off versus my other smart plugs by gosund/kasa handled by the tuya/kasa apps. The builtin wifi ap has saved me a few times from having to reset. At some point I may add a physical switch to these to control lights locally, I'm just too lazy right now. If I decide to link things to hassos in the future I think these will work fine without the cloud. Great little devices. I believe the majority of my initial issues were firewall related. I wish some of the outputs could be hidden, I'm only using the w out of the wrgb, and the extra outputs are very confusing in google home.
