I was using XTR, because it was XTR, but found myself adjusting the xtr rotors way to often. I switched to the SLX all metal and have zero regrets!!! these things work great and weight difference is negligible.

Replacing a worn rotor on my fat bike with this genuine Shimano part took all of ten minutes. If you have never done this yourself, there are many videos on line to show you how. This rotor comes with the necessary T-25 screws (be forewarned, you will need a T-25 Torx Star driver)

I replaced my MTB disc brake rotors with these Shimano Rotors. This was the first time that I have changed the rotors. There were no instructions in the boxes, just a list of cautions.I had to watch a couple videos on YouTube before I replaced my MTB rotors. I am happy with the results, but not with the lack of instructions.
