I bought these and waited until I tested them on a 60 kms trip. They are light, well ventilated and very easy to operate, as in you can remove your feet from the pedal quite easily. With regular shoes I would always have hot and wet feet when I came home, now after 60kms in 30 degrees Celsius weather my feet felt fine and dry, no swelling. I can recommend them.

Really like the look of these and they are good quality for the price. However as others have said they do come in a bit small. I normally wear size 8 (UK) and 42(EU). I went for a 43 and they are only just big enough. I would recommend going 1 size up for UK and 2 sizes up for the EU.

I’ve been road riding for about 2 years and finally made a stab at clip in pedals. I did some research and there seemed to be some big differences in quality with some of the low cost shoes available. I came across these entry level shoes by Shimano, a resorted brand and decided these were suitable. Purchased at £57 these were a bargain for a quality pair of riding shoes. Material feels great, comfortable. Yet to put any mikes on with them so will update a couple of hundred.My one gripe: I am a size 9 / 9 and a half depending on brand generally but measuring my foot out I am in length (26 cm /10.23 inches). I read other reviews saying that these come up a bit small so I went for the size 44 (size 10) all that was in stock when I purchased. I honestly couldn’t have gone any smaller in length. I understand these need to be tight fitting, not quite to the extent of climbing shoes but still, wow o was lucky I got a size up. Other than that excellent product and at its price a bargain.

I ended up having to order 3 different pairs of these to find the right size...I'm a UK 10.5, so ordered the EU 45They were obnoxiously small, so went for a 46 which are the same size as my DHB SPD shoesThat came up too small as well, so eventually got the 47s which are perfect.Materials are great, comfort is off the charts, power through the incredibly rigid sole is exemplary.My fitness is pretty dire right now so I have no clear metrics as to whether these have increased my effectiveness, but just from the feel of the contact and drive through the pedal, I'd suspect that they have.Only minor complaint is that one side seems to dig slightly more into the top of my foot where the velcro attaches the tongue to the body. But that soon goes away when you start pedallingSlightly expensive, but hey... cycling is mostly just the act of throwing money into a pit
