Made of a neoprene material this pad is to stop saddle slip.Its not very big and fitting to a 14 hand pony XW , it just about offers enough coverage on the saddle area for a Childs saddle. So be mindful of the size. Its been used 4-5 times with no issue, fitted direct to the horse, then a saddle pad, then saddle. It helps a little to stop some slip but shouldn't be used for a poor fitted saddle.

This is far better than I expected it to be! I thought it was just a wither pad because of the low price but it fits a full size saddle! Solves a saddle slipping problem on my round Shetland with no withers! Really, really good quality and useful item, I will be ordering another for my equally round cob!
