Loved the story and can't wait for book two! Lucas and Andrei are so cute dancing around their feelings! Roll on Snow's story

Why did I wait for this one? I've had it in my TBR FOREVER!!! The only reason I jumped over to it, was because I ARC'd Geoffery's story, (which is amazing by the way) and I found out about all these guys and had to read them!!! I loved them!! Lets talk about why....Lucas is a very wealthy man, who keeps himself to himself and his chosen family, Snow, Ian and Rowe... everyone else is expendable. The guys are his family, the rest of the world just exists. After buying a neighboorhood, to set up a thriving blue collar fresh start for the community that adopted him... someone else has got their eye on it and is going to stop at nothing to make sure that doesnt happen... After a run-in with some goons, paid by this person lands Lucas in the hosital... Rowe puts Andrei on his detail. He's the sexy Romanian body guard....I LOVED Andrei.... I loved their chemistry and their back and forth. I loved how they took each other out of their respected comfort zones and each one of them let their walls down and let the other one in... It was kind of fast, but I have no problem with that. When ya know, ya know....right?And there was just no denying the attraction. I loved them together, they were fun and flirty and then sexy and scorching!Now, because these people are stopping at nothing to get at Lucas, the guys all come together for Andrei to go undercover. Terrible plan, but I didn't see everything coming from a mile away. I knew that the guy who was introduced in the beginning had something to do with something because he seemed random in the story.... but afterward, I never gave him much thought, so I was really surprised he was who was behind things and the reasons why. It was truly my whaaaaaat, moment lol Alls well that ends well though, right?I loved how Lucas was with Snow, Ian and Rowe, I cant wait to get all of their stories... Ian and the hot cop and Snow with whoever he ends up with is going to be intense and insane... I'm so ready for it! I can tell right now that my entire weekend is going to be ruined by this series.. I was kind of disappointed that it ended in a HFN, I mean the book was long as heck.... but, Ive just bought all the other ones, so I really cant care about it at this point, I cant wait to jump into the next one!5 well deserved stars from me!

This is an incredible story, it had me drawn in from the first page. This tale has all you need, sex, romance, humor, intrigue, murder, arson, blackmail, and the sex incident at the halfway mark is off the charts. Incredible plot, amazing writing that starts off calm and then slowly builds and builds to an incredible climax with quite a plot twist near the end giving us a truly amazing story.

After getting totally hooked on the spin-off of „Ward Security“ I became very intrigued how everything had started with those glued together four friends Lucas,Snow,Rowe and Ian, after all those little hints. Gosh, I really should have known better when downloading „Shiver“. The author duo Drake/Elliott created such a complex world for their multilayered characters in the rich,mighty and powefull cirles of Cincinnati that I faced another inevitable all-nighter. Not even a chance to put the story of Lucas and Andrei aside before the end!There is someone out trying to kill Lucas Vallois, the charismatic self-made millionaire of Cincinnati. Lucas is clearly the center, who keeps his three best friends grouned and makes them revolve around him. His friends make him tolerate a bodyguard from Rowe's security firm, but the second Lucas sets eyes on Andrei, he is hook,line and sinker for the hot man. The unknown thugs threaten to destroy the empire he created, but Andrei threatens to unveil a deep longing he has carefully hidden untill now.You can clearly feel the effort and fun Drake/Elloitt had creating this series and all those big, dark male alphas! The romance part between Lucas and Andrei is filled with sizzling desire and intense passion. We also get a first, less favorable impression of Geoffrey, who is the MC of “Psycho Romeo”. The crime part disappointed me, as it seemed to be just on the side line, with an unexpected villan but a somewhat predictable outcome. And some scenes had been rather uneralistic, like the guys being in hospital after multiple injuries and a severe concussion. But after half a painkiller pill they are up and running again. I bet, in reality those unbreakable bond guys would be hospitals'best and worst patients.Still a great start of this series lureing me into wanting to know more. Plus add a star for the cover picture. I love the color combination and cut in half setting!

How in the world did I miss this? I'm kicking myself because this was just wonderful, I need more and ashamed of myself for not reading it sooner!I saw this some time ago on Amazon, the cover immediately caught my eye as did the blurb, I knew it was something that I could enjoy but I never realised just how much and how these two wonderful authors would hold me spellbound, I really couldn't get enough.The characters are just wonderful, all four of them. I fell immediately in love with Lucas, Rowe, Snow and Ian. These aren't just a group of friends, they are family.I was so envious of their friendship, the bond they have is strong and palpable.Though this storyline focuses on Lucas, we see enough of all four together for you to want to read their stories and trust me on this, you will want too. Book 2 is already out, Book 3 will be out in October (hooray) but we will have to wait for Book 4, but judging from I’ve just read, it's going to worth the wait.Lucas is the head of this group. He is the rock. He’s a self made millionaire, the owner of the hottest nightclubs in the city and seriously grounded.Because of a business deal, he gets attacked and injured. Rowe immediately decides that he needs a bodyguard. And this bodyguard is what changed Lucas’s life forever…..Anyone that reads my reviews, knows that I love the slow burn and Lucas and Andrei gave it to me, exactly as I like it.As the story develops, we see all the different aspects of Lucas (great, interesting character) but also just how complicated Andrei is! Andrei was more difficult for me, I think I got so carried away by Lucas, Rowe, Snow and Ian, that he slipped under my radar a little bit as they stole all my attention.This is suspense at its very best and as such, I can't give anything away - you will have to read it for yourselves but I will tell you this, Lucas and Andrei are hot! your heart is going to beat faster – you’ve been warned.I strongly recommend that you read book 1.5 “Lucas” immediately after this one, nope, not going to tell you why and spoil the fun.Would love to tell you more but I'm off to read Shatter, Snow is waiting for me…..
