I want to start off with a couple things. I have never ever worn anything like this and pretty good sized guy so I was nervous going into this. I signed up for a martial arts class with my family and I needed a cup. This had really good reviews so I thought I'd take the plunge.Let me say that I was more than happy with how comfortable these are!!! I will also say that I got the size I actually am, not the size I'd like to think I am, or want to be. I'll use the word "firm" to describe how they fit, not tight like jeans that are too small.The cup: I was not sure what to expect so let me help those that have never worn these before. There is a little pocket in the front that the cup slides into so technically your junk never even touches the cup part. I tried putting these on both with the cup in there first and then just the shorts and putting the cup in afterwards. Both ways were easy. I am telling you, this is very very comfortable and I don't even notice it when I put it on.

The underpants fit very well and I use them often, but the cup is impossible to get to stay still. It will lift away when you kick, and an out of place cup getting hit is literally worse than no cup at all.I think a big contributing factor is the tightness of the mesh that sits inside the cup pocket. With the cup in, the mesh is like a tight screen. So your bits end up mashed against it like they're on a trampoline lol. The mesh needs to be slack maybe?

I dig the shorts. The cup was a little weird at first. Although it looks a little "obvious" when it's on, it is by far the most comfortable cup I have ever worn. I forget it's on and I don't feel restricted in movement. I took my first shot to the groin in training the other day and though I felt the cup take the strike, there was no pain. I guess it just "paid the rent?" There may be better options, but I see a lot of the guys at my gym wearing this brand, the label is on the back of the shorts and is big, bold and colorful.
