These door handle replacements are fantastic. Both front door handles (of 2013 BMW X1) had gotten gummy and gross. I did a quick search for a how-to video on replacing these which gave me the confidence (and basic directions) to easily pop off the old covers and put these on. The only tool I needed was a flat head screwdriver to gently pry the end of the handle cover up. Then I was able to pull it off by hand and put the new one back in by hand (had to check that it was lined up correctly and hit it with the heel of my hand, but that was sufficient).I highly, highly recommend this replacement item!
