If you're newer to recording, streaming, or podcasting I strongly suggest the MV6. I got mine as a last minute upgrade to use on two projects and wound up purchasing a second to upgrade my wife's setup. The clarity and the difference you'll hear when playing back across other devices alone makes up for the price difference of cheaper mics. JI will add, if you're on windows...double check the mic's volume and the softwares volume settings via your computer's system settings...for some reason windows likes to turn it down initially and sometimes after updates. Additionally, the MV6 has some weight to it. The shell over the mic is plastic but the body is solid metal and sturdy. I would suggest a nicer boom arm, with it's weight the cheaper ones will produce sound and have some difficulty maintaining it in the same place. Just remember to set up the free Motiv Mix software as the mic in for your recording software and chat services and you're good to go.

The mic itself is very nice I liked everything from the build quality to the sound quality but if you want to buy it for your ps5 it won’t work because it is a class 2 mic and the ps5 dosent support it.
