SIGMA 18-35 mm F1.8 DC HSM is de eerste zoomlens ooit met een maximaal diafragma van f1.8 over het hele zoombereik. Het is een standaardzoomlens met breed diafragma voor digitale spiegelreflexcamera's met APS-C-sensor. De lens heeft een brandpuntbereik gelijk aan 27 mm - 52,5 mm in een 35 mm-formaat en kan de beeldhoeken van meerdere lenzen met een vaste brandpuntsafstand bedekken. De keerzijde was echter dat geen enkele zoomlens ooit een sneller diafragma bood dan f2.8, wat fotografen ertoe bracht om lenzen met een vaste brandpuntsafstand te selecteren voor helderdere beelden. Hoewel de diafragmawaarde van prime-lenzen superieur is aan zoomlenzen, is hun gezichtsveld altijd hetzelfde, en daarom was het altijd nodig om veel lenzen met een vaste brandpuntsafstand mee te nemen. SIGMA 18-35 mm F1.8 DC HSM is een nieuwe generatie lens die beelden met een diafragma van f1.8 over zijn brandpuntsafstand kan leveren. De heldere zoeker is erg handig voor het controleren van de focus en de compositie van het beeld. Als het wordt vergeleken met een lens van F2.8, vergroot de snellere sluitertijd en de ondiepe scherptediepte van F1.8 de creativiteit verder. Van breed tot standaardbereik biedt deze lens de uitstekende veelzijdigheid en prestaties van meerdere lenzen met een vaste brandpuntsafstand. p Het resultaat van geavanceerde technologie Om een brede zoomlens met een maximaal diafragma van f1.8 te bereiken, moeten verschillende technische problemen worden opgelost. Naarmate de diafragmawaarde groter wordt, wordt de scherptediepte minder diep, waardoor het lensontwerp extreem ingewikkeld wordt om verschillende vervormingen te compenseren, zoals sferische, axiale chromatische en astigmatische aberratie samen met de veldkromming. Om astigmatische aberratie over het gehele brandpuntsbereik te compenseren, hebben we op de ervaring en de knowhow vertrouwd die we hebben opgedaan bij het ontwerpen van onze supergroothoekzoomlenzen zoals SIGMA12-24mm F4.5-5.6 II DG HSM en SIGMA 8-16mm F4 .5-5.6 DC HSM. One of the best lenses for Crop sensor DSLR like Nikon D7100. Gives you 27-52.5 range equivalent to a full sensor camera. This lens is the sharpest and gives outstanding images. This lens is equivalent to most of the prime lenses and has zoom along with autofocus. Only OS is missing which is not a big deal for its size. The zoom ring is towards the camera and the auto focus ring is towards the end of the lens and is confusing at sometimes but you get the hang of it after using. This lens has excellent wide range and is a must for every high end crop sensor camera. The lens is made in Japan by Sigma.

Calidades de materiales excepcionales,no tiene nada que ver con mis otros objetivos Nikon aunque claro no valen lo que este.Calidad de imagen cuando quiere enfocar bien muy buena,aunque e tenido que devolverlo por problemas de enfoque,back y front focus que me a fastidiado algunos trabajos de retrato,y para el precio que pagué me niego a andarme por las ramas y lo e devuelto.Cuando me llegó el paquete la caja tanto de Amazon como la que contenía el objetivo estaban un poco magulladas,y el objetivo me vino con la tapa donde se conecta a la cámara suelto,indicios que nada mas verlos tenía que haberlo devuelto pero le di una oportunidad,aunque fallida.Espero que la siguiente unidad que pida no me venga con estos problemas.Le pongo 2 estrellas porque el objetivo es de mucha calidad,lo que me faltó esque funcionase bien.____________________EDITADO:Esta unidad enviada y vendida por Amazon si me a llegado en condiciones,ahora si aprecio las grandes bondades que brinda este objetivo con mi D7200. Muy recomendado y de gran calidad en todos los sentidos.

There's NO WAY there's a better video lens for the a6300 (if it is appropriate to use, meaning for being close up, or for wanting to be wide).WELL-- first let me state 2 things, first off, I am using the metabones speed booster adapter for Sony A mount to Sony E mount, and THIS set up sets this lens on FIRE, turning an F1.8 into an F1.3, which is the KING set up PERIOD. There's nothing like it, AND it's affordable.This lens is for APSC sensors, or APSC mode, not for full frame 35mm sensors.ALSO: Use of the metabones focal reducer (speed booster) is best suited for the cropped sensor version you get on the a6300 shooting in 4K at 30fps. When you try to use other modes, even 24fps 4K will cause vignetting on the lower range of focus, and some 18mm to 22mm will have vignetting.NEVERTHELESS--- go ahead and use it in 4K at 30fps, and THIS is just incredible what you get!! less than 2 meters from a subject, you can capture the entire room, and still zoom all the way in, and make your subject larger than life!!I just shot 2 days in the studio in North Carolina, and then an event the following day, all 3 days using this combo, (Sigma 18 35 with metabones speedbooster on a6300).I am certain auto focus is NOT something you would want to mess with, as trying to take stills using auto focus does NOT work, and that is an issue that makes me wish I had purchased the version of this Sigma 18 35 for CANON, and then the more expensive metabones adapter, but THEN be able to use the Sigma MC-11 adapter that is claiming native auto focus! (anyone tried that with VIDEO??)Me and my Dad can't believe what we just saw, even on our old 1080, 63 inch plasma TV, that was the most amazing footage of ANYTHING we have ever seen!! SO sharp, it's like looking through a WINDOW!The mics on the a6300 are WAY better than the a6000 now, and VERY decent, although of course not PRO audio grade.Don't EVEN question it if you are intending to shoot 4K with either the a6300, or using crop mode for your A7sii, and A7rii. For that matter, who has footage from an FS5 or FS7 using this Sigma lens and metabones speed booster?? THEN you could still keep zooming in!! THAT must be just out of control at F1.3!!ALSO-- this must be a monster low-light combo with the A7sii, which I will shoot next chance I get!!GOD!! I just wish I could include footage, but that would be a copyright issue to even send a link at this point, but YEAH, this is PRO grade stuff BY FAR in a VERY in-expensive package for some $2250, a6300/metabones speed-booster/Sigma 18mm to 35mm Art (and a tripod, this lens is not stabilized, and neither is the camera, BUT tripod duty does GREAT, and this has to be the most portable PRO 4K set up you could possibly get, for an amateur level price, for sure!!If you then get a Shogun or similar 4K recorder and monitor, YES, this is in FACT professional grade, although my Atomos Shogun Flame did not arrive in time for my event, forcing me to record internally, which I did with no overheating, and I managed just fine to NAIL focus. My eyes are perfect, but I did use the EVF, not the 3 inch LCD, which is borderline worthless, especially when using a wide lens.SO-- I will be keeping this a6300 in my bag with an A7sii, and A7rii, and of course, this lens is going to be used whenever possible just to get that shockingly SHARP image!!BAD ASS LENS!! Does very well shooting stills too, although using an laea3 could definitely be better auto focus, and using the laea4 would cost you the light you just added with the speed booster adapter.I was happiest using manual focus, and when zooming, it stayed "sharp as a tack", although it is softer on the edges than it is in the center, but it actually is an "ARTSY" effect that looks VERY nice, and puts extra emphasis on the subject in the center, so GREAT for shooting MUSIC events both in a studio environment, and concerts where you are either close, or want to get EVERYTHING in view, (or BOTH-- and then if you stick that on an FS5, you could keep zooming in from there!!) I'll be getting into an FS5 as well, especially now that I have several amazing E mount lenses and adapters.

Compré el lente con montura A para Sony y lo uso con mi A6000 con el adaptador de montura E: LA-EA2; el lente está diseñado para sensores APS-C y cumple perfectamente con su misión, la imagen se mantiene bastante nítida desde el diafragma completamente abierto hasta su mínima apertura. Existe una nula aberración cromática y su máxima nitidez he notado que ronda entre F8. Las viñetas se pueden observar en f1.8 pero en f4 son casi invisibles.Cabe destacar que el autoenfoque no es muy bueno con el adaptador y no lo puedo probar con una cámara con montura nativa A. Sin embargo el anillo de enfoque tiene un buen tamaño y no tiene un límite tangible, se sigue deslizando aunque llegues al fin del rango de enfoque. No es el mismo caso con la longitud focal.Es pesado, bastante, y si tu cámara es muy ligera, existe un desbalance al cual te acostumbras pero definitvamente tu cuello o muñecas lo van a sentir después de un rato de uso.
