My husband spotted this in one of his engineering magazines and thought it was a better design than the spoon dish that I have been using. Takes the usual wooden spoons and spatulas but also used it yesterday to keep my kitchen knife and spoon to hand while I was preparing a meal. Well designed and easy to wash under the tap. Fits flat (upside down) in my kitchen cutlery drawer.

I did look at a lot of different spoon rests before deciding on this one last year. It was exactly what I was looking for.The size, color, silicone material, ease of cleaning and the general look of this black spoon rest is perfect for my use. I love that 4 utensils of various sizes can comfortably sit on this spoon rest without touching each other or whatever drips off of them. The large area for catching drips as well as the lip around the edge does a great job. Also, the silicone material makes it super simple to clean.When I went to India recently, I took several of these spoon rests to give away as gifts to my relatives. They hardly added any weight to my luggage and I know that my relatives will enjoy them for years to come.
