I wanted a small drill vice for model making so I knew it would be small. When it arrived it felt too light but in use it is actually just the job and is perfectly stable under a bench mounted drill stand. Reasonably priced too. I recommend one for any DIY bench drilling jobs and it will certainly beat holding little parts in your fingers and be a lot safer - ouch!

Cheaply made but the quality is adequate for the low budget price and light work. It will be used with an old Lidl drill stand.I checked the grub screw holding the end of the worm drive and found it wasn't screwed in properly. I applied some thread lock as suggested by others. But if you don't have any thread lock, I also cut a rectangular piece of plastic from a 5mm thick shims and placed it over the grub screw before refitting the silver metal plate. This should prevent the grub screw from falling out.
