These scissors are not built well. They bent on the black part. Not recommendable.

I have bought several Silverline tools and have always been impressed with the quality. In comparison with the 'well known' brands they represent excellent value for money. If you want bright shiny tools with a famous name emblazoned on them then go for the more expensive ones, if you want basic tools that just do the job they were intended for then go for Silverline. Excellent value, the tools are perfectly adequate for DIY and general hobbyist, not up to pro use, but at the price, who's going to moan?
