I've used this for over a year now for woodworking. It's accurate, the lines show no sign of fading, and it's solid. Exactly what I wanted.

Leggendo le recensioni mi è parso di comprendere che molti l'hanno acquistata per un uso professionale o per lavori con il taglierino. Bene, invece io l'ho pensata fin da subito per mia figlia che ha appena cominciato la prima media, pensando a quante righe di plastica all'epoca ho visto rotte o scheggiate durante quei 3 anni di scuola.L'insegnante non ha battuto ciglio, il mio timore che la bandisse dalla scuola considerandola come un'arma è stato vano per fortuna. Ovviamente ha detto di custodirla gelosamente nella cartellina e tirarla fuori solo quando è necessario. Da parte mia, per sicurezza, ho dato una leggera scartavetrata a tutti i bordi per evitare i tagli accidentali.Qualche compagno l'ha rinominata la "katana" per scherzo, ma a parte questo fa la sua gran bella figura ed è già la più richiesta per i lavori di precisione.Le tacche ed i numeri sono incisi nell'acciaio, i primi 10 cm sono suddivisi anche in 0.5 millimetri, piccolo dettaglio che è risultato molto utile anche per me in diverse misurazioni.La suddivisione in pollici è stata utile solo per acculturare tutta la classe sebbene l'unità di misura inglese sia poco utilizzata nelle nostre scuole, però il professore ha preso spunto dalla riga, parlandone in una delle sue prime lezioni. Inoltre sul retro sono presenti ulteriori tavole per le conversioni.Lo spessore da 2mm la rende flessibile (mai come quella in plastica), ma allo sesso tempo molto robusta ed è lunga in totale 63cm.In definitiva è uno strumento valido e versatile con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, non posso che esser soddisfatto dell'acquisto.

It's a ruler than rules! Buy one and be a winner just like me, ruling away. Honestly though, probably the best thing I've ever bought. Made of metal so it won't break or dent, its springy enough to give great wobble so you can make those cool noises with it over the edge of a desk and with half millimetres marks you can get some pretty accurate lines drawn. The bonus feature they don't mention is the edges are sharp!! This makes your already awesome ruler double up as a letter opener, a box opener which effortlessly tackles that annoying tape Amazon seal the parcels with, and the rounded end works really well when you can't find a screw driver and you need to turn that plastic screw underneath your Dyson so you can slide out the brush when it gets clogged up with hair. Yeah, all in all, best damn ruler I ever bought! Go get yours and join in the fun of owning this beast!
