これを使うと爆音だったのが静音になる、というものではない。あと少しあと少し静かだったら良いのになぁ…というささやかな願いをかなえるためのアイテムだ。なんだったら2本組なので直結するとよい。ものによっては抵抗値が大きすぎてファンが起動しなくなるかもしれないから、物には限度ってあるんだなと知ろう。

This is well made and does its job perfectly with no voltage drop I'm not using this in a case but have it wired up to a similar cable which I've wired to a fused cig plug. I'm using this to power a mega delta 16500RPM fan which draws 27W at full load an absolute screamer of a fan which pumps out a crazy amount of cool air for its size which is 60mmx60mmx38mm. The cable remains totally cool even when under such a big load and the fans 3 pin cable has a nice snug fit with no problems. The fan originally had a 4 pin server molex plug which I snipped off and hooked up a regular 3 pin connecter as I have no need of the 4th PWM senser wire. I'm pushing 14.6V through a LiFePO4 charger to the fan with no problems so you shouldn't have any issues if using this in a PC case with a standard 3/4pin fan header. This cable has helped to keep my bedroom nice and cool during this sudden hot weather though the rest of the household arn't impressed by the sound of the fan I don't think.
