I first got a Hitachi-LG blu-ray drive for my PC but it was very noisy while playing audio CD's and (DVD/Blu-ray) films. I very much dislike that. My older PC had a Pioneer BDR-UB03 blu-ray slimline drive and it was much quieter. But it is hard to find. Fortunately I learned that this SilverStone offering has a Pioneer BDR-UB03 drive so I quickly bought it. It plays my audio CD's and my movies without problems and is as quiet as I expected.

Muy buen producto, viene muy bien preparado para realizar un montaje mas o menos sencillo. El único problema fue cuando monté el lector de DVD en la carcasa, no entraba muy bien, tuve que realizar mucha presión (pensaba que lo rompía) y la caja se abrió. Para un futuro usuario recomiendo que pulses las pestañas y abras la caja, la montes sobre la tapa superior y después la cierres con la inferior (fue lo que yo hice finalmente, pero me costo un poco de trabajo llegar hasta ahí). Creo que tuve suerte y no partí ninguna pestaña, porque en caso de que hubiera sido así... ya no la hubiera podido volver a cerrar bien, por eso te recomiendo que la abras en caso de que te pase como a mi y no te entre del todo.A parte de eso, muy buen producto, instrucciones bien explicadas. Muy recomendable!

Works fine, but have a magnetic screwdriver or some Blu-Tack on hand to hold the screw whilst you locate the holes in the 3.5 drive against the holder. It's nigh on impossible otherwise!

Ottimo prodotto di semplice installazione l'unico appunto è da fare alla non perfetta realizzazione e complanarità delle plastiche in particolar modo della placchetta da montare sul case del notebook.
