When I was looking for a new trash can a few months back, I found myself very conflicted, because I couldn't find what I wanted for the price I wanted. After reading the reviews, I finally caved, and spent *gulp* 40 dollars on a trash can. Just one. This was after realizing that I had already gone through a 7 dollar trash can, and a 12 dollar trash, that both had serious issues. I figured I was already 20 bucks into it, what the heck, might as well give it a try.I LOVE this trash can. It's perfect. With the lid in place it's about 28" high. I use the standard kitchen trash bags (13 gal) and they fit perfect. The lid does not cause any rips in the trash bags, I don't see it even putting any pressure on the trash bag. If need be, I can take the lid off one handed while holding something big to throw away in the other hand. The trash can itself seems very sturdy, holds up to dogs running into it. It is easy to move if I need to get behind it, and full bags of trash are very easy to take out of it.The lid itself is big enough to throw away standard kitchen stuff, it closes quickly with out swinging too much. It is easy to clean.The only problem I found, is that one of my GSD dogs, who is apparently not fed enough because he is always hungry, has figured out that he can stick his head in the trash can, and get out things that are on top. This is only a problem when the trash can is getting full, and when we're not home. I didn't knock off any stars, because it's not the manufacturer's fault that I have a hungry dog, and if it weren't for my dog, it would be a perfect trash can.It was 40 bucks well spent.

This bin is amazing. Spacious, easy to clean and the most important thing it does not suck the bag in when you try to remove it. Best bin for indoor use that we have ever owned. Very well made too - quality wise.
