Werkt perfect, beter dan de melkopschuimers van Philips of vergelijkbare merken die vaak minder geod schuim geven en te snel kapot gaan. Deze melkopschuimer is klein, praktisch en staat mooi op het aanrecht.

The product looks nice in overall and I liked that it came with the batteries included.BUT it is way too strong and fast for a milk-frother. It forms a vortex in the middle and does not make a good foam especially with plant based milks. If you do not use very little milk, you end up with a mess with the milk spilling everywhere.

When I first took this out of the box I thought if felt a bit flimsy, but here we are a month later and it has ben excellent. Froths milk easily. I also use it to whisk eggs for scrambles eggs - quick and easy to clean afterwards.

Un peu trop puissant pour une tasse, il y a beaucoup d’éclaboussures

I bought this in February 2022 and have been using it everyday for my morning latte. I sometimes use it a few times a day. The hardest item I have used it for is Jello pudding and it does it well with no isssues. In total, I estimate I have used it over 1000 times. But all good things do eventually wear out and this item has been a champ. I have disassembled it to see what has worn out and to share with you what to expect. There is a picture of the motor taken apart and you can see that the motor is a brushed motor. The brush has worn down to a state that the motor is not able to take on enough power to keep going. This is a disposal motor and for the price of this item, I am not surprised that it is a brushed motor. A better motor would have been a brushless motor which will last much longer but will make the product cost a lot more…so, it’s a trade off…nevertheless, it is what it is. Personally, I would pay the premium for a brushless motor version of a handheld item like this. There is picture of the front of the motor, rusted. I microwave my milk to a temperature of 160 C. At this temperature there is always some steam. I believe the rust is from the steam from the milk making its way up past the shaft and into the motor area. Knowing this now, I will pay more attention to angling the shaft into the milk, so to avoid any steam getting into the bottom of the motor. Btw, I also always rinse the whisk immediately after using it and put it back on the stand to dry. I don’t think it’s the rust at the bottom of the motor that contributed to the eventual failure but the moisture may have gone up to the brushes and that might have contributed to faster wear of them, but the brushes would have eventually worn to nothing, so it would have died sooner or later…still, for the price and the amount of use I got for it…no complaints.I took a picture of the outside body of the item to show the wear it endured over the years. This is more of a disappointment of how the holder made a ring at the bottom…scratch ring…also on the top. It didn’t take long after receiving it new for that to happen. The sharp and elegant look quickly disappear with the scratches on the plastic body…just wished it could have maintained that nice new look. Not a deal breaker, just thought it would be nice if they could add a rubber on the stand, so not to scratch the item.Last comment, when you put a new set of batteries in this, it spins at such a high speed that an almost full cup of milk will it spinning will most definitely cascade over and onto the counter. Well, I figured out a way to prevent that from happening. This is how to do use it with a full cup of milk. Hold a teaspoon in the cup, just below the milk, and angle it in a way to slow down the spinning milk. Adjust the angle of the spoon to allow the milk to spin at a rate that is that you want. Of course, keep the teaspoon from touching the spinning shaft….the teaspoon acts as a speed control that is missing on the item…

So I bought this to add frothy milk to my coffee (using aeropress) to make a capuccino, works best when you heat the milk but does it cold too. I was prepared to spend up to £70 on a decent frother, thought it was cheaper than a coffee machine, my delonghi Magnificat has bitten the dust and I'm not prepared to spend hundreds on a machine like that again. For under £6 including postage this piece of kit is an absolute revelation. In seconds you have foam, it's amazing and such a bargain. Cafe standard coffees for a fraction of the cost. Very very happy customer. Arrived next day as well. Here's a photo of a hot choclate foamed up, my kids are going to love it too!
