If you've ever wanted to play these famous Bach pieces on your sax then here you go. The transcriptions are well thought out, and fit the sax quite nicely. These are a joy to play, and will offer you years of entertainment. They are written for Eb, but also play nicely (but in the wrong key) on Bb saxes as well.The only issue I had with it is how few there were. The ad does tell you that there are only six, but they are so great they leave you wanting more.

This is to my knowledge the only complete transcription of all the suites for saxophone and a labour of love from the author and editor Trent Kynaston. It's fantastic to have access to this music in complete form for saxophone players. A short but insightful preface guides you right into the music and the dance forms. In my view the suites for cello belong to Bachs masterpieces, but I also find them consider them excellent to work on for developing sound, intonation and dexterity. This edition will be my trusted compatriot for the rest of my musical life.

Easy to read, nice spots for breathing suggested. Good practise for everyone who is serious with playing saxophone. Buy it.

L'ho regalato a mio figlio, che suona il sassofono, ma adora Bach: un'occasione unica.Ovviamente il risultato musicale non puo' essere neppure paragonabile alla versione per violoncello, ma e' una buona trascrizione, che aiuta molto a sostenere il suono e sviluppare il diaframma. E poi suonare Bach fa bene sempre...
