Delivered suitably packed, these sponge brushes are one of the most useful things in a number of my hobbies and crafts.I use them to put stains on wood, dye leather instead of a dauber, apply glue both solvent based and water based to surfaces, and often use them to apply undercoats to wood and metal. Depending of the application they are effectively disposable, but you can wash water based products out of them and for those products they are pretty durable.The stick handle is decent enough but you can snap the connector to the sponge if you lean in too hard, the solution is to not lean in so hard.Something that can be used for so many things the 1" width means you can get into nooks and being sponge it bends nicely into corners and at £9.99 (at the time of review) for 40 the price is very competitive.

I use these for all sorts of things in my workshop, they're a reliable standard.I often use these for leather and suede dye on shoes and other leather products I make. I also use them to apply the finishing coat I use on raw-edged leather, for which they work perfectly. They're much more efficient than the small brush I used to use because they can hold more ink and apply it much faster and more evenly.I sometimes use them for applying polish to seal in hard-to-reach areas, and much more, I'm sure people find all sorts of uses for these, I've even used them in the kitchen before.They're easy to wash out and re-use and use minimal plastics, which I'm mindful of in my business, especially these days. Price-wise, there's nothing to complain about, the cost per piece is fine. They're nothing special, but they don't need to be, it's a simple design that just works and has done for years.
