One of my friends highly recommended Skull King, and with her level of enthusiasm, I had to give it a try. I'm always on the lookout for good games, and this one definitely adds something unique to game night.It’s a fun mix of strategy, risk, and timing. I especially like that there are options to increase the challenge once you get the basics down. The core gameplay keeps you thinking, and it rewards bold moves when you time them right.My only critique is that it comes with a lot of rules, which can feel overwhelming at first. Fortunately, the game includes handy cheat cards to help you remember everything, and once you’ve played a couple rounds, it starts to click.I haven’t dived too deeply into the advanced gameplay with all the bonus cards yet, but I’ve played that way with friends who are more into it, and it adds even more layers to the fun. If you’re into risk-taking games with a twist, Skull King is definitely worth a shot.

Muy bueno, si juegas las 10 rondas se puede hacer largo, pero puedes acortarlo al gusto. Es como jugar a la pocha pero con un factor sorpresa que dan los piratas que puede echar al traste todas tus cuentas, tremendamente divertido.

Este juego tiene la mecánica de Bazas, es decir , cada jugador juega una y solo una carta y cuando todos hayan puesto su carta en la mesa, gana el que haya puesto la de mayor valor. El mayor valor no siempre es un número, a veces es un color o un tipo de carta especial.El juego se divide en 10 rondas y en cada ronda se entrega el mismo numero de cartas, en la primera una carta, en la séptima, siete cartas. Esto garantiza que a media partida todos los jugadores habrán entendido las reglas.Antes de cada ronda, cada jugador ve sus cartas y apuesta cuantas bazas cree que ganará con sus cartas. Al final de cada ronda se cuentan los puntos y se preparan para la siguiente.En mi experiencia este juego es la mejor manera de introducir el juego de Bazas a quien no lo conocen, siempre ha sido un éxito en la mesa con jugadores jóvenes y grandes. No tiene dependencia del idioma más allá del reglamento y unas cartas de ayuda pero que no son indispensables.
