Smallfoot [DVD] [2018] [Region 2]

I have purchased numerous DVDs from Amazon and all of them work great except this one. It would not play on my machine. I suspect it is not made to play on a machine manufactured in North America. I did not see this information in the description before I purchased it nor does it say on the product what region it was manufactured for.

My son loved this when he was little. We forgot all about it, and felt like watching it again.

Wieso verkaufen Sie DVDs die in Deutschland auf einen Player nicht in deutscher Sprache abgespielt werden können?. Was muss man den bei einer Bestellung noch alles für Details vorab überprüfen und in den Kleingedruckten suchen?

Very much disliked as we could not play this in an American DVD player.
