A battery is a battery. However the charging port on the battery itself is a game-changer for travelers. Being able to charge your batteries without having to bring a charger is fantastic.

I have been using this SmallRig DMW-BLK22 battery for Panasonic cameras for it must be at least six months or more and it's been absolutely flawless. The battery lasts the exact same length of time as the original Panasonic battery that came with the camera. When it's in the camera I cannot tell any difference from the Panasonic OEM battery.The SmallRig version of this battery has the added functionality of being able to charge it via a usb-c cable meaning I do not have to set up the full battery charger and means I can charge the battery in the car with again just a usb-c cable. Hence it's easier to charge and more versatile to charge. it of course also fits into the camera as the original battery does, the dimensions are perfect.lastly the battery is far far better value and cheaper than the original Panasonic batteries direct from Panasonic. So I absolutely and whole heartedly recommend this battery for compatible Lumix cameras.
