Absalutely love the rig so far. Opens to a world of opportunities regarding connections and other gear (tho I don't have any of it yet. Also makes me feel just a little safer, bout my camera not being damaged. Only downside is, that there aren't any quick assembly guides in the box or online (so far I could find) maby just include a qr code to a short video or a small instruction paper.

The cage itself is nice, but it's impossible to use with my A6100 with a big lense and a grip.When the rubber grip is installed together with a bigger lense (like Tamron 17-70), it impossible to insert fingers between the grip and a lense.And without that rubber grip it's uncomfortable to hold the camera in a cage.Also the right coldshoe covers the dial too much so it's hard to operate with it.So I use a different half cage instead: SMALLRIG Half Cage for Sony Alpha 6700 4337.

Frame is solid but the small torx installation screw snapped just as it was tightening, leaving the screw thread body stuck in the frame. Couldn’t even remove the screw head from the small screwdriver bit!Fortune Smallrig helped me out and now I have a solid frame on my a6000! Thanks!

I bought it for my A6100, to make it more bulky. And it does that, but it also makes the camera way heavier. Worst thing is with most lenses I can no longer comfortably put my fingers between the body and the lens. So I don’t use it

The small rig has great build quality and is really sturdy! Great for protecting your small A6400 and ensuring it won’t take any external damage in case you drop it on the ground, very easy to install with only 2 screws. Only downside is it removes the ability to use a camera strap but the trade of is worth it!

Esto es algo a tener en cuenta si prefieres configuraciones ligeras o si planeas usar la cámara durante períodos prolongados sin trípode.- Acceso a los compartimentos ➤ Aunque en general el diseño es muy funcional, he encontrado que el acceso a algunos compartimentos de la cámara, como la batería o las tarjetas de memoria, es un poco más complicado con la jaula puesta.💡 CONCLUSIÓN:La jaula SMALLRIG con empuñadura de silicona es un accesorio imprescindible para los usuarios de las cámaras Sony A6100, A6300, y A6400, especialmente para aquellos que se toman en serio la protección de su equipo y buscan un agarre más cómodo. A pesar del peso adicional y el acceso ligeramente más complicado a algunos compartimentos, la calidad de construcción, la mejora en la ergonomía, y la protección general que ofrece justifican ampliamente estos pequeños inconvenientes. Es una inversión que recomiendo para mejorar la experiencia de uso y la seguridad de tu cámara.

Ho effettuato l’acquisto semplicemente per senso estetico. Volevo solo dare un po' di “corposità” alla mia piccola macchina fotografica Sony A6100. Una volta montata però mi sono accorto che non era semplicemente una questione estetica, ma questo accessorio porta altri vantaggi.Innanzitutto migliora l’impugnatura grazie alla maniglia antiscivolo in silicone che all’occorrenza può essere rimossa.In secondo luogo, questa gabbia è stata pensata per installare più accessori contemporaneamente: tutta la struttura è dotata di numerosi fori di dimensioni 1/4" e 3/8” e sulla parte superiore sono presenti 2 cold shoe per ulteriori accessori tra cui monitor, flash secondari, microfoni, maniglie varie e altro. La base inoltre è di forma ARCA, compatibile quindi con le teste treppiedi che supportano questo tipo di sgancio rapido.Altro punto non indifferente è che, se per sfortunato caso, dovessimo far cadere la macchina fotografica, abbiamo comunque un’ulteriore protezione dagli urti. Mica male!La gabbia è di facile installazione: va fissata con 2 viti, una sul fondo e una all’altezza dell’occhiello destro per la tracolla. In dotazione abbiamo la chiavetta per avvitare il tutto, la quale si trova sempre attaccata alla base della gabbia tramite magneti. La macchina fotografica si poggerà su una parte gommata in modo da non graffiarla. Il gioco è fatto!Tutta questa “praticità” ha come effetto collaterale l’appesantimento di tutto il corpo macchina di circa 200 grammi, cosa che si farà sentire se usiamo la macchina per un tempo prolungato.In ogni caso è un buon accessorio, non adatto a tutti ma sicuramente orientato ai fotografi professionisti.
