Cage reçue bien portégée et bien emballée dans son packaging.La cage est robuste et solide.La finition est très soignée.La qualité de fabrication semble de très bonne qualité.La cage s'adapte parfaitement à la mon Osmo 5 PRO.Les bords épousent bien ceux de la cam et l'ajustement est vraiment top.La cage est compatible avec les support à dégagement rapide, les flashs et autres accessoires fréquement utilisés.Le loquet de vérrouillage empiète légérement sur le bouton de la cam mais cela n'est pas franchement dérangeant, au premier abord.Globalement, cette cage est très bien réalisée et convient parfaitement à la Osmo 5 PRO.Elle est légére, polyvalente et facile à installer.Très bon produit, que je recommande a ceux cherchant une cage de qualité pour leur Osmo 5 PRO.

Well, I originally saw this item as oppose to the metal cage from Smallrig is because I was on tight budget, for less than £20, this case is amazing.Yes I know what you might say, 'why not use the DJI cage provided with the action 5?' well, the DJI version of the cage is a closed design, meaning you loss access to battery compartment if you keep your cage on. Thinking about this, you are outside filming, without access to a desk or table, your action camera went out of power, with the DJI original cage, you need to unlock the cage, take your action camera out, put the cage in your pocket so you have both hand to open the battery lid, that is way too fiddley for me.This cage is just way simpler, you unlock the cage, it will open from the side and you have direct access to the battery! Fits very well on my Action 5 Pro, function wise, it gives you 3 extra cold shoe mount, and it is compatible to the DJI original quick detach. All in all very good value with greater functionality design.

I have multiple Smallrig accessories. They are all top quality.I have the aluminum cage version of this and use it the majority of the time. I like to have a cage on my camera all the time. I just feel that it is safer. What I didn't like about the aluminum was the added weight especially if on a long selfie stick. This solves that problem since it is much less weight than its aluminum sibling.OEM plastic weight: 29 gramsSmallrig plastic weight: 31 gramsSmallrig Aluminum weight: 88 gramsThe OEM cage is fine and does a good job of protecting your camera but the biggest issue I have is the lack of being able to access the battery and memory card. This cage allows you access!The quality is what you would expect from Smallrig. It has 3 cold shoe mounts and with the bottom opening you can still use the quick magnetic mount on the camera for portrait shooting. For vertical shooting, you will use the quick magnetic mount on the cage itself. It clicked right on with no issues.I think I have a new cage for my day to day shooting and the aluminum one will be used now for extreme shooting like it the camera is mounted outside on a car just in case it falls off it will be a little bit more protected than with a plastic cage.Overall, 5 stars for another good product from Smallrig.
