SmallRig should be on your list of great photography brands if it isn't already. I have never been disappointed in anything they have offered.This cheeseplate will last forever under proper use and the price is great.

A cheese plate on steroids? This little plate has so many options! So far, I’ve been able to use it in every situation I can think of. I use it with my phone rig to hold a few extras, and I can also add it to my cinema rig for additional attachments as needed.I really like that it includes extra cold shoe mounts, which is super convenient. Not much more to say—it’s a cheese plate that works exactly as it’s designed to, with some great added features!

What really sets this little cheese plate apart from the others I own is the design. All my other ones look essentially the same, just vary in size. This one, however, includes cold shoe mounts...which is such a genius addition you have to wonder why they don't always come with that design. I ditched a couple far less useful ones after receiving this one yesterday and spending a few hours trying out different configurations...this just provides so many more options. Typical build quality, comes with two mounting screws and a wrench. I just love it when an inexpensive piece of gear ends up providing real value. Great job here, will definitely watch for this design style in the future.

For me, this cheese plate solves a problem: how to attach a device with a cold shoe mount without tying up my camera’s hot shoe. As I’ve come to expect from SmallRig products, the fit and finish are impeccable and the price isn’t extortionate. I suppose the only complaint I could possibly make is: it doesn’t come with batteries! 😹Disclosure: I received this product for “free”—in quotes because the IRS requires I pay federal income tax on the retail value.
