Possiedo già diversi prodotti SmallRig e per me questo marchio è diventato una vera garanzia: ogni volta che acquisto qualcosa da loro, so già che troverò qualità, funzionalità e attenzione ai dettagli. Anche in questo caso, con il Super Clamp, non sono rimasto deluso. La costruzione è solida, in alluminio anodizzato nero, con una sensazione di robustezza e precisione che raramente si trova in questa fascia di prezzo. Il serraggio a vite è sicuro e facile da regolare, anche con una sola mano. Regge perfettamente anche configurazioni un po’ più pesanti, senza mai dare l’impressione di cedere. L’unica cosa che potrebbe essere migliorata è l’aggiunta di una sottile gomma antiscivolo all’interno della pinza, per aumentare l’aderenza su superfici particolarmente lisce o delicate. Detto questo, il grip è comunque buono e non ho avuto problemi reali di stabilità. un altro acquisto riuscito da parte di SmallRig. Se cercate un clamp affidabile, versatile e ben costruito, questo è sicuramente da considerare, come tutti i prodotti Smallrig che seppur un po’ più cari rispetto ad altri lo sono per qualità offerta.

This clamp is about what you'd expect from Smallrig. Affordable, robust, built solid, with good quality machining. I own a handful of their other super clamps, which are similar to this, without the rotating flat pinchers on the front. Those aren't exactly the right tool for the job when clamping to a flat surface. (They'll work, but at an angle, with not a lot of surface contact between the clamp and the mounting surface). This design is a little thinner, with three 1/4" mounting holes to screw in anything with a 1/4-20 thread pattern.The packaging is pretty plain, but it's just a metal clamp. I don't see the need to make the packaging super flashy. It arrives wrapped in an additional layer of protective wrap inside the box. My particular unit arrived 100% functional and unblemished.I'm a fan of how well the hardware feels in your hand, especially when you are attempting to tighten this down to a surface. Like many of us, I try to find that fine line between stability and overtightening. You can tighten the heck out of these (and the other SmallRig clamps I've used) without feeling like you're about to snap the hardware.For my initial test, it held a rotating ball head mount, small light panel, small magic arm, and Canon g7x in place with no real issues.The one flaw I can find with this design is the lack of rubber inside the claw itself. The part that touches your mounting surface is serrated to create a bit of textured grip, but it feels like hard plastic. This at least cuts down on potential scratching of the mounting surface, but I would have liked to see even the thinnest layer of rubber inside the clamp to create a bit of friction when gripping a pipe or laminated (slippery) table surface. It still maintains a solid grip on a desktop surface, but you can see in my video how easy it is to rotate the clamp, even when it's tightened down. This is ok for my work style, but I could see that bothering others. In defense of this minor issue, I will say that it is very difficult to pull straight back on the clamp when mounted, so it will hold your items in place. But as far as swiveling, it does show a tendency to rotate, at least on my desk surface, which is fairly slick.I own several other clamp style claws from a few different manufacturers, and I nearly always find myself reaching for the SmallRig options in inventory first. If I needed to add more of these to my kit, I would not hesitate.

Molto pratico e robusto.
