Love the stuff Smallrig makes. very usefull at a very reasonable price

The principle is great and the quality of this product is great as well.However, as Arca Swiss isn't a formal standard, plates from different vendors will slightly differ in dimensions. The angle of the Arca Swiss indentation may for example be different.This causes a problem in that you have to modify the SMALLRIG quick release clamping force to each plate each time you use them.For example, I have a Wimberly foot on my 500 f/4 and another brand on my 200-400 f/4. When I swap lenses, it does not secure the lens unless I use an allen key and add a quarter of a turn to tighten it down. When I swap back to the lens with the Wimberly foot, I am unable to close the locking knob, unless I loosen the screw using the allen key.Not exactly the experience I hoped for.

I slapped this on a Manfrotto 501 QR plate in the studio to finally have all tripods and sliders in the studio converted to Arca. Works great, the lever seems to hold cameras nice and secure. I like it more than a regular threaded clampdown for the convenience.

El mejor baseplate que he tenido sin duda, resistente, completo, seguro.. absolutamente ningún pero!!
