I actually like this more than I anticipated. The grip is strong and a good size for L-XL hands. It weighs slightly less than other Zf grips, which is a plus.

The box was opened before it arrived. It has a scratch on the upper part of the grip and what looks like a split forming right where the screw mounts the wood to the aluminum (probably why the last guy returned it). I didn't pay full-price for a returned product.

Very well made and fits the camera perfectly. The wood grip is unique and adds a touch of quality too.The grip does help with holding the camera but I can easily live without it with smaller lenses however it's great to have the option to use it or not and it does add protection to the base of the ZF which is plastic.I was concerned that the grip might move a little and scuff the camera but after a long trip in extreme heat it held up fine and there was no damage to the camera itself too. A little pricey but overall it's worth it for the excellent fit and quality.
