Das große Plus dieses Halswärmers ist sein Material: 100% Merinowolle - keine Polyesterzufügung. Das Material fühlt sich angenehm weich und glatt auf der Haut an und obwohl das Produkt relativ dünn ist wärmt es jedoch, meiner Meinung nach, ausgezeichnet. Sehr modern sieht es jedoch nicht aus - sieht aus als hätte man einen dünnen Wollkragenpullover an.Am Liebstens ist für mich jedoch die Einfachheit diese Produktes - einfach drüberziehen, zurechtrücken, fertig. An Schalen stört mich immer wieder das man entweder nicht weiß wohin mit dem ganzen Stoff oder sie verrutschen trotzdem im Genick so leicht das man alle zeitlang wieder rumzupft damits nicht zieht. Kompakt verstauen in einer Jackentasche lässt es sich auch noch.

Purchased this gaiter since I signed up for a 5k on New Years and the temps were in the single digits. My training runs were rough due to the cold and I actually injured my mouth from running in extreme cold. My doctor suggested a gaiter and I did some research and saw rave reviews about this one from Smartwool. It is very warm! It is perfect. I am someone who refuses to wear a turtleneck since I despise things on my neck so the first wear of it was a little tense but within minutes it stretched and adjusted to me so that was no longer an issue. I pull it up over my nose and mouth when I run and it negates any issues of breathing on a cold weather run. It will get wet if you are running or cycling and using it over your mouth/nose but it wicks the moisture away from your face. It stays put fairly well (other brands have straps to adjust but this fits great without that). After a long workout I have machine washed on cold and hung dry and have done this 5-6 times now and the gaiter still looks great. I have used it just on my neck at times too and it keeps me nice and toasty. Though pricey, it was worth the $.
