Brilliant quality - love itJust wish I could get left handed one!

This is a 24-inch by 14-inch mat that can be used for trading card games like MTG.The mat is available with or without a printed MTG layout. I ordered mine without the layout.It comes rolled up in a handy reusable carry bag. The print, depicting snowy mountains, is vivid and vibrant. The colours and detail are very well done and look exactly as pictured. The mat has stitches around the edges to keep the rubber base in place, and it stays firmly grounded on my desk.While the product description suggests it can be used as a mouse mat, the size is a bit awkward for that purpose. It's too narrow to comfortably accommodate both a mouse and keyboard. However, it is a good size for card games.My only concern is that the art looks like it might be AI-generated. I hope I'm wrong, but it would be nice to see the artist credited if it's not.Overall, this is a beautiful and well-made mat that's perfect for card games.

Right out of the packaging, the mat had no problems laying flat on my desk as it was rolled and packed with the print facing out so it naturally wants to curl toward the table making it sit flat. As mentioned in the title the print quality is as good as any other playmat I’ve purchased, seen or used, and they’ve clearly used high DPI source art and nice equipment for printing & sublimating this. It really is a lovely looking playmat in the standard MTG size of 61cm by 25.5cm with a very crisp and brightly coloured print of a snowy mountain landscape. The edges are also stitched with a soft edge border material, which is printed to match the rest of the mat. The bottom of the mat is made from a very grippy rubber-like material, and it has had no difficulty staying in place with even slippery glass surfaces. I’m almost certain that the art used for these is AI generated, so if that brings up an ethical dilemma or concern for you then you may want to avoid generic playmats from vendors like these. Before AI art became common, they used to just take art without permission, so I personally see AI based art as an improvement as it’s at least somewhat transformative from the original sources the AI was fed. I don’t personally mind it, but it’s certainly worth mentioning. I can’t overstate how much I like that they’ve given the option for a mat with and without the MTG commander layout, I don’t personally like playmats with dedicated ‘zones’ as I think they spoil the art and often don’t line up with how I position things, but the option being there is great for the folks looking for that. Overall I think this is a fantastic MTG or general TCG playmat, and it’d even work great as a desk sized mouse mat. There are some very visually interesting art options, it’s well made from high-res art, quality materials and comes with a handy drawstring pouch, all at a reasonable price of £20.99, which is a typical price point for a playmat of this size and quality.
