Impressed with how easy these are to clean and they do not allow any drips into the toaster. Just have to make sure not to cut the bread too thick so they fit into the toaster.

I'm delighted to find this excellent toaster, (which looks great and functions very well), makes amazing toasties. I've used it with thick wholemeal/granary bread, with one slice each of cheese and ham, so far. No drips or spillage into the toaster, and SMEG manual says wash racks in warm soapy water. (Contrary to what Amazon seems to say/quote from manual)). They are super-easy to wash, so really no need for cleaning in a dishwasher anyway. I like the fact that the edges are NOT pinched together, which can give a very hard edge to a toasty. Am still playing with the settings, as I've only had it a few days, but setting 3-4 partly melts the cheese and makes a nicely toasted sandwich. May use the warming button, after they're toasted, to see if that melts the rest. They're scrummy as they are, anyway.Can't wait to try the bagel aetting on the toaster. Was worth the wait for Black Friday deal for the toaster. Seemed to have bought the two racks at a good price, just before B.Friday too. Would recommend. These make this pricey toaster even more versatile. Thank you Amazon.

No tiene mucho misterio pero cumple a la perfección. Es de calidad al igual que la tostadora y da la sensación de que es resistente. Los sándwiches sales muy ricos y te ahorras la mantequilla o el aceite.
